  1. first-person singular perfect active indicative of timeō
    1. "I have feared, I feared"
    2. "I have been afraid, I was afraid"

This is the word I chose to have tattooed onto my arm.

It's aspirational. I have been afraid of all sorts of things, and I have let that fear get in my way. I'll see it often, and I hope it will remind me to be brave, to act despite my fear.
